Join us on Saturday, Jan. 13, 9AM-12NOON for our 2024 TTGM Annual Planning. This meeting will set the agenda for our organization in 2024. It is free to attend and open to the public.
If you want to influence the direction of your community in 2024, this is the place to start. We will be looking at projects across the areas of:
- Environment/Ecosystems
- Zero Waste
- Health/Local Food
- Local Economy
- Community-Building Events & Partnerships
- Inner Work
Some new areas will be explored as well, depending on interest. For example, some people have recently raised the possibility of working on transit issues like encouraging mass transit, bike friendly spaces, reducing car use and more. We will also be welcoming the Green Wagon Project (previously part of Keep Media Green), the Tree Lovers Collective and the Media Tree Tenders!
If you are a representative from a partner organization like an EAC or non-profit, bring your ideas on how we might better support you with your initiatives. Join projects are always welcome.
Location: Media Borough Parlor Room
Time: 8 am Doors open, light breakfast available
9 am Workshop begins, including...
An opening meditation and exercise to generate new possibilities for 2024
Review of 2023 accomplishments
Discussing and Voting on new initiatives
Signing up for existing initiatives
11:55 am Workshop ends
12 pm Lunch (optional) to discuss working groups, new ideas, introduce ourselves
Space is limited so please RSVP using the Google form link in the ticket section. Bring your dreams and hopes for a more resilient, sustainable and localized community. Ideas on how to improve what we already do or ideas on completely new projects are welcome.
