The ride will begin at Caldermeade Farm & Cafe & finish in Cowes. We would love it if you could come and try some brekkie at the Farm like many did on this year's GP ride. Please note it is PREFERABLE that you go onto Eventbrite and get a ticket so you do not have to fill out details with our Marshals before the ride on the day. Tickets are FREE.
Stands up at Caldermeade Farm & Cafe at 11am, following the Sth Gippsland/ Bass Coast Hwy via Grantville and San Remo, with our final stop being Cowes at 12/12:30pm.
Final destination, The Esplanade, Cowes, Phillip Island.
This is a rider and community organised event, so ANYONE is welcome. Bikes must be legal, roadworthy, registered and you must hold a valid bike licence.
PLEASE NOTE: All participants, officials & spectators attending do so at their own risk. All persons, Clubs & Associations having connections with this event, including all owners of vehicles involved are absolved from any liability connected with this event in matters whether for negligence or as occupier or on any other basis and no matter whether such liability be foreseeable and no matter where or how such liability may occur.
Toys will be distributed by volunteers at a designated location in conjunction with Rotary after the Run. While all toys are accepted, it is important to remember that we cater for ages 0-18. Often teenagers get forgotten about, so gift cards are suitable and appreciated. Parents can be forgotten too, so assistance with bonbons, wrapping paper and general help to make Christmas great is awesome.
Please remember we cannot accept toys that are wrapped. All toys go through a sorting process before they are given to children and families, wrapped toys makes this difficult. Disadvantaged children and families from Phillip Island, San Remo, Bass, Corinella, Coronet Bay, Grantville, and Kilcunda regions will benefit from 100% of donations collected with Rotary's help.
On the day there will also be a market on the Esplanade with many stalls from food to crafts and live music. Bass Coast Council have put a Traffic Management Plan in place with appropriate road closures and plenty of bike parking. Hotel and the North Pier Hotel will also be open. The local CFA will also be putting on a BBQ and there will be free facepainting for children, Santa and showbags. Rotary & volunteers will be collecting toys in a designated location.
There will be prizes on the day for Best Decorated Bike, Trike and much more...
Please contact via Facebook for further information. Ride details will be regularly updated
