Please join us for our annual outdoor training day held at the Aspen Grove Trailhead area (Theater in the Pines amphitheater or the parking lot, depending on snowpack). New members are required to attend both indoor and outdoor training. Current members are encouraged to attend both.We will be doing hands on scenario based training for medical incidents, evaluating environmental conditions, familiarization with the trailhead shack, and more. If conditions permit and a flight service is available, we finish off the day with a visit from one of our helicopter evacuation partners.
This training is held rain or shine, so come prepared for any weather conditions. More details will be sent to team members. If you have not signed up to volunteer yet, please go to tert.org/join to start the application process. Questions may be directed to [email protected].
