Want to know more about what’s going on - and will be going on - in the three Crystal River State Parks? Come to the Annual Meeting of the Friends of the Crystal River State Parks! We’ll be getting together for refreshments at 3:30, with the meeting starting at 4 p.m. in the Archaeological Museum on Tuesday, November 18. The Friends are the official Citizen Support Organization of the parks, and the more people who care about the parks and get involved, the better. It’s a great way to give back to the parks you love. The agenda for this meeting includes not only election of the Board of Directors, but discussion about fundraising to replace the aging staircase up Mound A, and several upcoming program offerings.
