Join us at the annual Jackson County Friends of the Library Book Sale! The book sale is located at the Jackson County Fairgrounds in the Blue Building. Sale hours are Thursday, September 11 from 10 AM to 8 PM, Friday, September 12 from 10 AM to 6 PM, and Saturday, September 13 from 9 AM to 1 PM. On Saturday, there is a $5 bag sale all day and if you help box up remaining books from 12 PM to 1 PM, you get to take them for free!On Wednesday, September 10 there is a Friends of the Library Member Presale from 5 PM to 7 PM. You can join the Friends of the Library in advance or at the sale. More information is available on the library website, jclmn.org/about/friends.
Proceeds of the sale go to the Jackson County Libraries in Jackson, Lakefield, and Heron Lake to support programs, to purchase materials, and towards other “extras” for the libraries. And, thanks to the matching funds provided by Modern Woodman, your support at the book sale has double the impact!
