100% of the proceeds from this fundraiser will go toward our Hope for the Holidays fundraising goal of $100,000 and give cats like Skylark the lives they deserve. At just nine weeks old, Skylark's condition took a critical turn when he suddenly began struggling to breathe. He was rushed to the emergency clinic, where it was determined that he was dangerously anemic and in serious distress. Placed on oxygen immediately, his only hope for survival was a life-saving blood transfusion. Against all odds, Skylark made a miraculous recovery. After receiving intensive care at the hospital, he returned to his foster mom’s loving arms, snuggling into her neck with newfound strength. Before long, he began to thrive—doubling in size and joyfully running and playing like a healthy kitten should.
