Current Members are welcome!THURSDAY, DECEMBER 19th is our annual club HOLIDAY PARTY and AUCTION. The party and dinner, as always, start earlier than our usual meeting time.
We are back at the Greater Plymouth Community Center this year for this event (will plan to return to the Sandy Run CC perhaps next year). Food will be offered but alas, cash bar this year.
Be sure to arrive at 5:30 PM, food arrives at 6. Earlier arrival will allow early review of what is on offer for the auction. It also allows plenty of time for enjoying each others' company and share stories prior to opening bids of our hot and heavy auction. Please sign in on arrival, so you can receive your assigned bidding number, to facilitate the auction.
Besides all the celebration, as always, you'll still have another excellent opportunity to either get real bargains on a wide range of Fly Fishing and Outdoors equipment (including, among other things, excellent rods, reels, tying materials/equipment, and fishing accessories). Also, make space in your own collection by checking your closets and "thin the herd" by bringing what you want to sell to others! This is a great way to end the year and start planning for the coming spring.
For club members, be sure to look through any items you might wish to auction off. Be sure to come early so you can both display & review the items you may be selling &/or considering bidding on. THERE ARE GREAT DEALS EVERY YEAR THAT YOU WOULD NEED TO SEE TO BELIEVE.
ALL ITEMS NEED TO BE WELL MARKED AHEAD OF TIME - as "DONATION" vs FOR SALE ON "CONSIGNMENT" and please include ANY RESERVE PRICE that you require. (consignment items result in 10% of proceeds going to the club).
