Who is buried at Peace Church Cemetery? Among the approximately 1500 individuals interred there, are hard-working miners and farmers, precious children, veterans from five wars, a distinguished local physician, and victims of a worldwide pandemic. Learn about some of these individuals, as well as a relative of a HIGHLY RENOWNED AMERICAN and a locally INFAMOUS CRIMINAL, at our Annual Guided History Tour on Saturday, October 11. A veteran's grave will also be highlighted during the tour. Two tour times are available: 10 am and 2 pm. Wear comfortable shoes. A suggested donation of $12 will be appreciated, with all donations supporting the upkeep and maintenance of the cemetery. Peace Church Cemetery is maintained solely through donations and volunteer efforts. Don't miss this event, which occurs only once a year!
