Love the little birds that visit your garden? Want more nature in your garden? Find out about local community group Gardens for Wildlife Ballarat and be inspired by guest speaker Tanya Loos who will discuss the ideas in her latest book Living with Wildlife: A Guide for our Homes and Backyards.Tanya is an accomplished author, radio presenter, blogger, wildlife carer and public speaker whose passion is to motivate people to care about wildlife and wildlife habitat. We know this theme will appeal to those curious about attracting and interacting with wildlife around our homes and in our gardens.
The afternoon will begin at 2pm with a brief Gardens for Wildlife Ballarat AGM with presentation of President’s and Treasurer’s reports and election of the committee.
Tea and coffee will be provided but please bring a small plate of afternoon tea to share. Take home your empty plate plus a selection of local native plants for your garden - and maybe purchase Tanya's inspirational book.
