Escape to a tropical paradise for an unforgettable getaway—no passport required! This year's theme for the 2025 McHenry Area Chamber's annual gala is The Beach Ball: A Trip to the Tropics.

Doors open at 6PM. The gala includes an open bar, appetizers, 4 course dinner, dancing with Derek's Digital DJ Service, a raffle, silent auction, and a wine and whiskey pull. Attendees can wear cocktail attire, but dressing to theme is encouraged - think "resort chic" (see past photos from our events. We LOVE to dress on theme)!

In addition to dinner and dancing, we will honor the winner of the Frank E. Low Award (ANNOUNCED MONDAY JANUARY 13). This is the Chamber's highest honor accorded to an individual for distinguished community service.

***Menu: Garden Salad (raspberry vinaigrette or ranch dressing on the side), Tomato Bisque, Duet of Sautéed Chicken with Pineapple Glaze (with mango salsa on the side) and Braised Beef Short Ribs with a Red Wine Sauce, Mashed Potatoes, and Asparagus, Rolls, and Dessert. Red and White Wine will be served with dinner.

Vegetarian entree will be Spinach and Ricotta Rotolo (please make sure you note this when booking)

A block of rooms will be reserved for those wanting to spend the night at the Holiday Inn. The rate is $99 (plus 11% tax.) Reservations must be made in advance order to receive discount.
