Friends of Fitchburg Abolitionist Park cordially invites you to celebrate:1. Fitchburg’s connection to the Abolitionist Movement and continued fight for freedom and human rights!
2. The continued development of the Fitchburg Abolitionist Park - what’s been done since Juneteenth and what’s to come!
3. Our community with friends and family
The event will include:
- Black- and Latinx-owned food trucks - free food for the first 50 attendees
- FHS JROTC raising the Black Liberation and US flags
- Live bomba y plena dance and drumming performance by area youth
- a chance to donate and receive one of our 2024 t-shirts, if you don’t already have one or want to gift one to a friend or relative.
