Annual Exhibition 2025The exhibition is being held this year at the Thistle Hall in Cuba St and will run from 29 September to the 5th of October.
Our annual exhibition is the opportunity to showcase the best work of our members to family, friends and the public and we try to include work from each member.
Current members of WPS are invited to submit up to three images to be considered for selection for the exhibition.
Entry
Each member can submit up to three images.
Entries should be sent to [email protected] by midnight, 30 August 2025.
File Specs: Full resolution under 12MB
File naming: First name, Last Name, Title (if any)
Colour Mode: RGB colour mode (not Grayscale)
Bit Depth: 8 bits/Channel
Colour Space: SRGB
JPEG Format: Baseline (“Standard”)
File Naming
To avoid mixing up each member’s files, each image should have a clear file naming structure. It just allows us to keep better track of the images.

Printing and matting
The exhibition will be shown in the club frames, which are 16 x 20 inches. We will arrange printing and mounting of selected images on your behalf. You may elect to print and matt your own images. If this is the case, Please contact us to discuss.

Opening night
Monday, 29 September | Time 7pm | Thistle Hall, 293 Cuba St, Te Aro. Please come and join us to celebrate the creative photos of your fellow club members and yourself – family and friends are welcome. Finger food and refreshments will be available.
Gallery roster
We are looking to establish a roster of volunteers to man the gallery during weekday afternoons and during the weekends. Please contact the committee via [email protected] if you can volunteer.
