Our Annual International Kite Festival Weekend Getaway! Friday August 22nd 2025 to Sunday August 24th, 2025. We will meet, rain or shine, at 4:00 PM on Friday the 22nd and enjoy several activities and places along the Peninsula. There are Museums, 2 lighthouses, an Interpretive Center, a Senior Activity Center, Gift Shops, Restaurants, food trucks, fair tents with hand made and novelty goods, walking trails, and more! We will have some planned activities and therr will be free time to explore on your own! One planned meal together as a group each day. Those going are responsible for arranging their own transportation and accommodations. If you need suggestions, please feel free to ask! (The earlier you book, the better the selection and prices on accommodations! Carpooling may be possible. This is one of the busiest weekends on the Peninsula!)
