Come enjoy the best Christmas Lights Poway has to offer! We'll be riding through mulitple neighborhoods that will be decked out with lights.The route will be 22 miles. The route is all paved but there are occasional potholes, broken sidewalks (that made really good ramps) and some bumpy bike lanes. Expect slow speeds near the lights but then a cruising speed of about 20-25 as we travel to and from neighborhoods.
Please dress warm! Seriously, it gets cold. We pass by some rivers and the temperature literally drops 15-20 degrees. Please bring lights, night rides are dangerous without them. All PEVs are welcome but please know their limits. Tight turns and weaving around cars is a high probability.
There shouldn't be very many cars on a Wednesday night but please be comfortable weaving through slow moving cars.
Meet at the Freeport Rd Park & Ride adjacent to the skate park. Rollout is at 6:45pm sharp.
