We come together this day for a bit of lighthearted ritual joy. Celebrating our inner child and delighting in all things chocolatey and delicious. Together we indulge in frivolity and fill our bellies and minds with happiness. While we will be celebrating in a more modern way, The roots of this ritual comes from what was once a wide practiced healing ceremony. While we will be enjoying the ritual that now is full of silly playfulness let us not forget the intentions to bring with us on this day.The Roots:
A Cacao Ceremony is a spiritual ritual that involves consuming ceremonial-grade cacao in a group setting to facilitate connection, healing, and self-exploration.
It originates from ancient Mayan and Aztec traditions and has gained popularity in modern times for its ability to promote mindfulness and personal growth.
We look forward to seeing all the creative things you can do with chocolate. Everyone (if possible) will bring a chocolate dish, drink, or treat to share. It will be a feast of yummy proportions.
