Please join us on Saturday, April 26th [rain date Sunday, April 27th] at 10 am for our annual CELEBRATE MOTHER EARTH FESTIVAL
a fundraiser for & at The Historic Jersey City and Harsimus Cemetery.
A wonderful Family Friendly day of Environmental exhibits, Urban farming & planting activities, learn about our 4-H Urban Farm Club , The Harsimus Honey Bee Hives, The Feminist Bird Club and other JC Parks & Gardening groups, and a petting zoo from Aly's Barnyard Friends with Baby Goats, Sheep, livestock & other Farm animals, food, drinks, etc. Bring the Family for a memorable day at our Historic Cultural Heritage Park & Permaculture Learning Center with tours by Local Historian and Trustee Mandy Edgecombe from the Jersey City Landmarks Conservancy.
PLEASE COME EARLY AS THE PETTING ZOO IS FROM 10 am to 1 pm ONLY.
We also welcome our crafty Vendors, &
good eats from Cal's Hot Dogs and our 4-H Club Bake sale.
Bring the Family & take in our nearly 400 years of beautiful Nature! Come & Meet all the Animals!!!! Baby Goats, Sheep, bunnies, chickens & a few other Surprises! (Please Note!!! The Farm Animals will start heading back to the ranch at approx 1 pm, so please come early so the children don’t miss the animals!!) The event will continue until approx 4 pm
Adult Admission $10, Children of petting age $5, Vets and Seniors FREE. Also a Special ‘Family rate’ of $25 for a family of four. All proceeds are applied 100% to the all-volunteer historic Cemetery Preservation Mission.
