Business of the Year:
The Business of the Year Award honors a Chamber member business that has demonstrated exceptional performance, innovation, and impact within its industry. This award honors a business which exhibits strong leadership, strategic vision, and a commitment to excellence. The recipient has not only achieved notable success but has also contributed significantly to its community and shown a dedication to corporate social responsibility. This recognition celebrates the overall excellence and positive influence of the business in driving growth, fostering innovation, and making a lasting, positive impact on both its industry and the broader community.
Business Leader of the Year:
Business Leader of the Year honors an individual representing a Chamber member business who is a visionary within their field and, through their business initiatives and accomplishments, made a significant impact on their organization, industry, or community. Through their leadership, this individual must also demonstrate a commitment to fostering a positive organizational culture, adhere to high ethical standards and responsible business practices and showcase a willingness to embrace innovation and agility in responding to industry trends & challenges. Outside of their organization, nominees should exhibit a strong commitment to the Gilbert community through philanthropy, partnerships with non-profit organizations or environmental sustainability initiatives.
Emerging Business of the Year (less than 7 years in business):
The Emerging Business of the Year Award honors a Chamber member business that has shown remarkable growth, innovation, and impact in its industry within a relatively short period of operation. This award is reserved for businesses that not only demonstrate, but also embody the spirit of entrepreneurship through innovative products, services, or processes. Recognized for setting industry benchmarks, fostering a positive organizational culture, and contributing to their community, the recipient of this award is seen as a beacon of potential and a leader among new enterprises poised for future success.
Emerging Business Leader of the Year (less than 7 years in a leadership role):
The Emerging Business Leader of the Year honors an individual representing a Chamber member business who demonstrates exceptional leadership qualities and has made significant contributions to the business world early in their career. This award celebrates innovators and visionaries who have displayed outstanding strategic thinking, effective decision-making, and a commitment to driving positive change within their organization. The recipient of this award is a rising star, poised not only to make a lasting impact on the industry, but in their community as well.
Impact Award:
The Impact Award recognizes a Chamber member business that made a significant impact on the community through community engagement, unique partnerships, environmental initiatives, ethical business practices, support for underrepresented groups, leadership, and advocacy of community issues, and/or collaboration with other businesses or organizations. The recipient should exemplify best practices in corporate social responsibility and community engagement.
Non-Profit of the Year:
The Non-Profit of the Year Award honors an outstanding Chamber member (501(c)(3)) organization that has made significant contributions to the community through its dedication to service, impact, and philanthropy. This award recognizes a non-profit that has demonstrated exceptional effectiveness in addressing social, environmental, or community issues. Through innovative programming, strong leadership, and commitment to their mission, the recipient of this award exemplifies excellence in non-profit management, inspires others to act, and makes a tangible difference in the lives of those they serve.
