The Need:While hospice services are often covered by insurance, there are critical financial gaps. Some patients are uninsured or underinsured at the time of terminal diagnosis. Others may lose coverage after leaving their jobs due to illness, while others face delays in insurance authorizations or don’t qualify for Medicare or Medicaid based on age or income. Their needs can’t wait. At CHP, no patient is ever turned away due to an inability to pay for hospice services. Your support ensures that everyone in our community can receive end-of-life care with dignity and compassion.

CHP Home Care & Hospice has been the local, nonprofit, trusted hospice care provider in NW/West Central Ohio for the last 51 years ❤️🩹 Our annual Beacon of Hope for Hospice Dinner & Charity Auction will be held on April 9th, 2026 and we invite you to attend ✨ The event is a fun night out that features a delicious catered dinner (RSVP required) live and silent auction items, 50/50 drawing, raffles and more. All proceeds will go directly to our patient care fund for the Delphos and surrounding service area. Social time will begin at 5:30pm, dinner at 6:15pm, with live auction to follow at The Delphos Eagles. You won’t want to miss this memorable event supporting our hospice program with Kenny Thomas as Auctioneer and Rick Miller as Emcee.
Donations:
Consider donating a raffle basket, gift certificates, merchandise, services, and event tickets for our auctions. Monetary donations are also welcome. All contributions are tax deductible (34-1159395) This is a unique opportunity to advertise your business and support local, so feel free to include business cards on your donations. If you are donating an item for the auction, please notify us; mail, drop off at our office, or we can pick up by 04/02/26.
Event Sponsorships:
$500+ monetary donors will have their company logo on the main banner behind podium, logo on the front of all programs, logo on your table, and name read aloud during the evening in recognition. Tax deductible checks can be made payable to CHP and mailed to 1500 E Fifth St Delphos, OH 45833 by 03/31/2026 to be an event sponsor.
