Get set to be a part of the Annual celebrations in New Orleans. The 51st Annual Bayou Classic Thanksgiving Parade is set to take place on Thursday 28th November 2024 at 3 PM.
The Parade will showcase floats marching bands military units Alumni krewes motorized units and other elements of Louisiana's African American culture such as multiple elements from the Zulu Social Aid and Pleasure Club which is New Orleans' oldest predominantly African American carnival krewe and community service organization whose distinguished list of former kings includes Louis Armstrong. Beginning at the Louisiana Superdome and concluding at the French Market the Thanksgiving Day Parade adds an exciting dimension to the Bayou Classic experience and involves the greater New Orleans community as well as sponsors and out-of-town guests.
Parade Route:
The parade starts at the Caesars Superdome on Poydras Street parades down Poydras Street to make a left on S.Peters Street down S.Peters Street to make a left on Canal Street continues on Canal Street to make a left on St. Charles Avenue marches down St. Charles avenue back to Poydras street to make a right and ends at Poydras and Loyola streets.
