The Hickory Day Annual Auction is the school’s primary fundraiser and a fun community-wide social event. This year’s event will be held on the campus of Hickory Day School on Saturday, April 12, 2025. Thanks to the past fundraising efforts associated with this event, Hickory Day School has been able to continue to grow and serve students in the Hickory area from kindergarten through eighth grade. As the area’s only non-sectarian independent school, it is important for the greater Hickory area that we are able to continue to instill in our students a love of learning in a unique environment that emphasizes academic excellence, critical-thinking skills, and global perspectives.This year's auction will begin with cocktails and appetizers on the pavilion before moving to a covered tent area for dinner and the live auction. Before his retirement officially begins, we will be celebrating Dr. Rick Seay's career in education as well as his past 10 years with Hickory Day School.
