About Amor a Mexico
Amor a mexico dance group, emerged in Calgary one year ago with the intention of promoting and disseminating Mexican culture in Canada through its dance and folklore, under the direction of Gabriela Ovalle, a dancer with more than 15 years of experience and who also performs the wonderful costumes for the group.
In 2023 we participate in important Calgary events such as Mexifestival, Fiestaval Latin Festival, Spring Music Festival, Multiculturalism and Antiracism event, Heritage Day Bowness Street festival, Calgary Pride parade & festival, Fiesta Mexicana, among others, always being received with enormous acceptance and great reviews in local magazines and newspapers like the Calgary Herald. Quickly consolidating ourselves as one of the most beloved groups of the Latin community in our city Calgary
