Do you want to learn the foundations of baking? In this class, we will make French & Swiss meringue Buttercream together.Are you looking for fun, unique baking classes that are taught by a professional Pastry Chef that will help you become a more successful and more confident baker? Are you tired of going to the classes that have you just watch or work in a group setting and don't let you work on your own or take home any of the food? Annie's classes are hands on and everyone works individually. Why? The best way to learn is to do it yourself. You will create your own sweets and take home what you make in every class. You will also learn techniques to carry you beyond this class that will help builid your confidence and increaase your chances of success when you go and recreate these recipes on your own or apply the techniques to other baking recipes.
Pastry Chef, Ann LoParo, Aka Annie is so excited to be hosting a hands on in person buttercream baking class in Berea at her new location! Annie is a graduate of Johnson & Wales University and has over 18 years professional baking experience as a Pastry Chef and over 6 1/2 years experience teaching students of all ages locally in Cleveland and internationally on zoom. Annie has taught over 900 baking classes to students as young as 3 and has had her classes featured in both Country Living Magazine and Parade Magazine.
HAVE YOU EVER MADE YOUR OWN BUTTERCREAM FROM SCRATCH? IT'S EASIER THAN YOU THINK. Annie will teach you the basic foundations you need to make your own buttercreams from scratch. This class will take place at Annie's baking school located at1433 West Bagley Road Ste 250, Berea, Ohio 44017. We will each measure, mix and make our own French and Swiss Meringue Buttercream in this class from scratch! You will take your buttercreams home at the end of class.
Classes are limited to 6 people per class. This class is for anyone 10 years old and older. If you have a child between the ages of 10 and 17 years old that is interested in taking this class, a parental consent release form is required for each child participating.

Every person that participates in the class is required to purchase a ticket.

As always, my priority is the health and safety of everyone who attends my in-person baking classes. My goal is to provide a safe environment for all baking classes by implementing cleaning and sanitizing procedures recommended by local health officials.
Tips about in-person classes:
-Stay at home if you are feeling unwell
-Maintain safe distance from other participants.
-Masks are not required but encouraged.
-Hand washing stations and hand sanitizer will be available for all participants.
Please be aware that although we do our best to avoid allergens, we cannot guarantee anything is 100% allergy free as we will be using shared equipment in a shared kitchen.
