About this Event
Annie's Project is a six-week program connecting women with experts in production, fiscal management, human resources, marketing, and the legal aspects of establishing a business. During the six-week workshop, participants will have an opportunity to connect, share, and learn about women's empowerment, the dynamics of agriculture, and funding opportunities, and connect and grow with each other.

Session 1 – Introduction and OverviewSession 2 – Estate Planning, need legal documentationSession 3 – Farm Service Agency, Resources, Programs, LoansSession 4 – Farm Insurance, Marketing your BusinessSession 5 – Basic Financial, Documentation, Flow charts, Budgets, SavingsSession 6 – Cottage Law and Developing your Business Each program will address one of the six risk areas identified by Annie’s Project.
Light refreshments are provided during the workshop.
Entrepreneur Spotlight (A Woman Entrepreneur’s story of how she ended up in the business, challenges, rewards, and question and answer period)Engagement Activity – participants will interact with the content presented and discuss it with each other. Community Organization – Have a professional or community service organization speak briefly of their services and how to join the groups if they want to increase their community involvement.
