Annie in the Water is Americana indie rock grown out of upstate New York from the roots of two guitars, maturing to a powerful five-piece with drums, bass, keyboards/synthesizers and multiple-part harmonies. Because the band is capable of playing almost any genre, listeners may feel a vast array of emotions as the songwriting traverses rock, funk, reggae, folk, bluegrass, dance-beat and more. The rhythm section creates a driving landscape over which guitars and synthesizers paint beautiful melodies; where there is an abundance of intentional lyrics, there is no shortage of tastefully exploratory improvisation to send everyone to the moon and back. With Annie in the Water, you are a part of something greater than yourself, working together with the forces around you, caught in the midst of a beautiful moment.
