Presented by Crewe Lyceum Theatre Summer Youth Project 2025.Based on the popular comic strip by Harold Gray, Annie is the beloved, high-energy musical that has captured the hearts of audiences worldwide for generations and was the winner of seven Tony Awards including Best Musical. Set in the 1930s during the Great Depression, Annie tells the inspiring story of a courageous orphan girl who refuses to give up on finding her real family, no matter the odds. With the help of her lovable dog, Sandy, and a cast of unforgettable characters, Annie embarks on a journey that transforms her life and the lives of those around her.
From the unforgettable songs like “Tomorrow” to the thrilling twists and turns of the plot, Annie is a celebration of resilience, optimism, and the power of hope.
