Barri is preparing for a year's paid maternity leave but there's a catch:
She isn't pregnant.
With seven foam bumps, a wardrobe full of smock dresses and a great pregnancy heist planned, all Barri has to do is blag it until she can disappear for good, without getting caught and being sent to Pr*son for fraud. Child's play.

Anna Brook-Mitchell
Anna Brook-Mitchell is a BAFTA Rocliffe Comedy-winning writer, actor and filmmaker. Her BBC Comedy Short Film, Man Eater – written with her screenwriting partner, Angela Nesi – aired on BBC Three in 2023 and was selected for BFI London Film Festival and Raindance.
Motherfaker is her debut novel.
