Happy January! We welcome you to join us on January 20th for our next Astronomy on Tap Event starting at 7 PM at Grizzly Peak Brewing Co! We will be hearing from an Astronomy postdoc about quasar outflows and from the assistant director of Astronomy at the Detroit Observatory about how the sun became a movie star. Seating goes fast so make sure to get there early to secure a table and grab a bite and a few drinks.
We also will be selling merch!!! We have a new alien magnet design for purchase and some unique stickers. Please remember to bring cash if you wish to purchase.
We hope you are excited for this event. As always, our events are open to all ages and there will be fun games and prizes as well as the talks.
