It is that time of the year again when we at the CSSSC congregate annually to honour the memory of our dear colleague and friend, Anjan Ghosh. This year, we are delighted to have the historian, Sudipta Sen, deliver a memorial lecture for Anjan, on a theme which is a part of a larger work he is finishing on law, crime and punishment in late 18th and early 19th century colonial India.
Please join us that evening at the auditorium of Jadunath Bhavan at 5.30 pm. We are looking forward to having a large turn out at this lecture.
