Anita Carmichael recently wowed everyone with her sax grooves and backing vocals on the Julia Quinnn motown evening. Tonight for the first time she will introduce us to her own quintet featuring some of the funky soulful melodies from artists such as George Benson, Sade & many others we all know and love. In addition we will hear some of her own compositions including one number currently in the smooth jazz charts. Anita Carmichael internationally acclaimed singer/saxophonist is releasing her new single YOU & I WOW Recorded at Dalston Lane Studios London and mixed and produced, programming & keyboards by Jacob Tanousis, . She has a new album Grooves & Hooves on UK's leading independant Saxology Records.
The album is full of ballads, funk soul and jazz vibes with Anitas trademark searing sax and soulful vocals.She has collaborated with Fayyaz Virjii from Incognito and has guested with Shakatak to soul superstar Alexander O Neal.
