The term “anime” is just the Japanese term for animation, and there are many styles. The popular look can change and evolve over time, but the key techniques to animation are constant. We will focus on character development inspired by Pokemon and Anime. We will learn how to properly draw characters and body proportions and then stylize the figures to create unique and finished illustrations. Aside from working on character development, we will also be storyboarding and animating a short story. We will be using a variety of materials to create our artwork. We are sure that you will sharpen your skills and be more confident in your character development as we create unique finished pieces of art that are inspired by these popular animating styles.
