
About this Event
This 2-hour workshop introduces beginners to the fundamentals of anime drawing, focusing on character creation. Students will learn the basics of drawing anime characters, including anatomy, expressions, and styling, through a mix of instruction, live demonstrations, and guided practice. By the end of the session, participants will have sketched anime characters, applying the techniques and principles discussed.
The class objective is to understand the basic principles of anime art style. You will first learn to draw basic anime character anatomy and facial expressions. We will then develop skills in character design, including hairstyles, clothing, and accessories. Finally, you will complete a personal anime character drawing.
About our presenter:
My name is Analy Benavides and I started drawing when I was nine years old and it has been my passion since then. I am really into Anime and most of my artwork is based off of my favorite shows. I would like to pursue a future as an animation artist and attend the Tokyo College of Anime and e-Sports in Tokyo, Japan. My dream is to go to Japan and make my own Anime show and to share my passion for Anime with you!
