About this Event
Anthropocene is the name for our current geological age in which human activity is the dominant factor impacting climate, the environment, and non-human animals. The goal of this Symposium is to provide space to consider scholarship that addresses what this means for nonhuman animals. We welcome applications to present works in progress or ideas in the development stage and from students as well as junior and seasoned scholars. We also encourage applications to participate as a Discussant for one or more papers.
The Symposium is co-hosted by the GW Law Environmental and Energy Law Program and the GW Law chapter of the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund (SALDF).
