Discover the ways we use training and enrichment to care for our animals’ physical and mental wellbeing! Learn how our keepers teach our animals voluntary behaviors that enable them to take an active role in their own care. Get a behind-the-scenes look at the Museum’s enrichment collection and make your own enrichment for an animal!Timeframe: 11am, 45 minutes
Capacity: 8 (recommended for ages 6 and up. Anyone under the age of 13 must be accompanied by a paying adult)
Cost: $30 per person, in addition to Museum admission
Guest Tip: Wear comfortable shoes; tour may involve a short walk on the Boardwalk Trail depending on weather. Note that the tour will begin near a diet preparation area where carnivore food such as meat, mice, and fish may be being prepared.
