Join Mercy for Animals & The Humane League volunteers for an animal rights action meetup where we will socialize, eat yummy vegan food, and assist animal rights campaigns. Working with Mercy for Animals we will take digital actions in honor of Earth Month to address plant-based milk surcharges and to push forward local plant-based legislative action, and organize around delivering manager letters to a local-ish coffee chain. *Please consider bringing a laptop, tablet or phone to participate in digital actions. Ale Mary's has wi-fi.
To help The Humane League, we will organize delivering letters to local Subways to hold them accountable for their failure to keep a promise they made to ban the use of cruel cages.
