Dear Friends, in honour of His Holiness Karmapa's 35th Birthday we will gather - for the first time since June 2019 (!) to do the practice of Tsetar, or Animal Release, which we have done on an annual basis for many years now. The practice is extremely powerful and auspicious to participate in, by liberating the lives of animals destined for slaughter it is a means of purifying karma and we hope that you will join us both in person and on Facebook Live for the event. We will gather at KSD Dublin at 1pm, or from 2pm you can join us at Beshoffs on Howth Harbour where we will purchase as many live crabs and lobsters as we can manage, and then release them at our special location!
Please join us if you can - observing the guidelines of course! - but if you cannot join us in person you can still join us live on Facebook (around 3.15pm) and also by making a donation via our website www.buddhism.ie (use the Paypal link and put 'animal release' in the note).
It has been so long since we have been able to get together for this practice but hope you can join us.
