oin us to foster a deeper connection with our favorite farm residents, the animals! In this collaboration between Retreat Farm and River Gallery School of Art, participants will have the opportunity to practice their animal drawing skills while spending time in the Calf Barn with our live (animal) models. Led by River Gallery School's teaching artist, Kate Milliken, each 2 hour session will provide support and instruction for those who need it, and the opportunity to work independently for people who prefer to be on their own. Both novice and experienced artists are welcome. Each class will start with intentional observation of our subjects.
Basic supplies will be provided.
Enroll in all three sessions and receive a $15 discount. All are welcome; children under 12 need to be accompanied by an adult.
Space is limited to 12 people per class and advanced registration is strongly encouraged.
