Anika jako bývalá novinářka vnáší hloubku i nadhled do své hudební tvorby, která dle jejích slov osciluje mezi rebelií a uvolněním. „The world might be going to shit, but that’s why we need to meet in real life, vent, dance the pain away, play music, listen to music, laugh, cry, build bridges, come together...“ Tento étos prostupuje její tvorbou, v níž se střetávají zvuk, poezie a aktivismus. Přijímá nedokonalosti, chyby vědomě staví do popředí a boří konvenční systémy a zkostnatělé struktury. V hudební krajině posedlé technologií působí její přímočarost, nespoutanost a DIY přístup radikálně. Album Abyss není o honbě za novotou; je o přítomnosti a naléhavé potřebě lidského spojení.
