"Music That Defies Borders"
Angus Mtizwa, a visionary Zimbabwean musician, stands at
the crossroads of global musical traditions. Performing
original songs both in English and his native Zimbabwean
language, Shona, The Totem delivers high-energy live
performances that get audiences moving and showcase the
best of cross-cultural musical fusion.
Drawing inspiration from his daily experiences, Angus
approaches composition by embracing spontaneity and
letting the natural rhythms of life guide his artistic journey.
Venue Info
The Granton Pianodrome is a DIY grassroots venue set in a warehouse on an Industrial estate shared with some van rental companies and used car sales. Ours is the most colourful unit at the end: You'll see a grand piano on top of a shipping container!
Toilets: please note that we simply have one compost toilet at this venue (made out of pianos) which may not be accessible for some guests. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience and assure you that we are doing our best to remedy this issue.
