Our Saturday Saunters are leisurely strolls. Designed for anyone who would like to walk at an easy pace due to rehabilitation, ongoing illness / injuries, or just general fitness. Children are welcome, too.This one is a family-friendly circular trail of approx. 4 miles, easy-paced walking round Anglezarke Reservoir in Chorley. There are a couple of stiles enroute, and on small hill (a total elevation / climb of 410ft / 124m). The route will be on a mix of grassy paths, tarmac roads and gravel / surfaced paths along the reservoir shoreline.
As with all Abigail's Trails, this is a small-group guided walk led by a professional Mountain Leader. Spaces are limited and cost £7.50 per person (£5 per child).
Well behaved, friendly (with people and other dogs) dogs are welcome, but may need to be on leads for a few sections on this walk to protect livestock.
