Anglesey Mountain is one of my favourites 😁She may not be the biggest but she gives some good hard stretches that give her a bigger mountain feel 💪
We will be starting from Victoria Lock Carpark and making our way up through Fathom Woods and past the hidden waterfall before hitting the open mountainside. We will head up to the summit which on a clear day has incredible views of the rest of the Cooley Mountains and the Mournes.
This hike does require a decent level of fitness due to the strong uphill sections and uneven mountain terrain.
Proper clothing and footwear are essential, no jeans or runners please.
Duration: 4 hours approx
Difficulty: Decent fitness required
