ANGFA National Convention 2024 Cairns21st and 22nd September 2024

Together the Australia New Guinea Fishes Association Northern Australia (ANGFA NAU) and ANGFA Inc. are pleased to present the ANGFA National Convention for 2024 which is being held in Cairns Queensland on the 21st and 22nd of September 2024.
The ANGFA National Convention represents one of the largest (if not the largest) event focusing on Australian and New Guinea fishes anywhere in the world.
The ANGFA National Convention is a biannual event that brings our members from across Australia and the world, together, to discuss and showcase our native aquatic fauna, flora and ecosystems.
The website is now open for registrations to be completed for a low $235. You can also select the dinner option if you wish to reserve a seat at the Convention Dinner. Dinner prices are $65 per head.

Shirts will be available also for the Convention, but we are currently settling on a supplier, so when they become available, we’ll let people know.
The National Convention is being held at Novotel Cairns Oasis, 122 Lake Street Cairns, QLD 4870 Australia, which is located in the heart of Cairns https://www.novotelcairnsresort.com.au/
The venue has rooms allocated for people attending Convention, just make sure that you mention that you are booking for the Australia New Guinea Fishes Association (or ANGFA) Convention. However, if you decide not to stay at the Convention venue, there are many alternative hotels and AirBnBs in and around central Cairns.
The Presenters are being finalised at the moment, so watch this space for updates.
The annual general meeting for ANGFA Inc will be held at the venue on the evening of Friday the 20th September 2024.
