About this Event
Everyone experiences anger - but how can we manage it in healthy ways?
This three-session virtual course is for youth ages 13 to 17 who have been expressing their anger in challenging ways which is negatively influencing their life. This course will allow participants to look into themselves and understand where their anger is coming from and how the anger is affecting them.
Using a trauma-informed and attachment-based lens, the facilitators will work with participants to understand what anger is, how it feels, and how to express feelings of anger and frustration in healthier ways. Each week will build upon the content from the previous session, focusing on communication, conflict resolution and emotional regulation strategies.
Participants who attend all three classes will receive a certificate for completing the course.
