K*ll THE DARKNESS:

K*ll The Darkness (KTD) is a Progressive, Thrash, Metal band from Baltimore, Maryland. The band was formed in 2017 with vocalist Alex Magno, guitarists Kevin Taylor and Beckett France-Kelly, bassist Riley “Scott” Payne, and drummer Riley Porter Postma. In 2021 guitarist Roberto Novak joined the band, which now completes the current lineup. The band members started their musical careers at a young age, some as young as 6 years old. KTD plays at festivals such as Main Street Music Fest, Music City Maryland Fest & M3. They have perform at Fish Head Cantina & the 9:32 Club in Merriweather Post Pavilion. They love playing benefit concerts such as the annual Stars, Stripes, & Chow Chili cook off at Camden Yards in awareness for our homeless veterans of Baltimore. Some other performances include Little Market Cafe in Ellicott City, Maryland, and Omega Recording Studios in Rockville, Maryland.
They started out by playing covers when most of them were 7 & 8 years old. In the last few years, they have begun expressing their music with original songwriting. The band’s variety in music styles, rhythms, and constant atmospheric changes from different songs gives them a unique sound bringing high energy and intensity. Their first single will be released January 13 2023. Their debut EP is currently set to release sometime in early 2023.
