“Andy Warhol’s Frankenstein,” (Aka “Flesh for Frankenstein”), directed by Paul Morrissey, 1973 , 95 minutes, on 35mm!.In a mysterious Gothic castle Baron Frankenstein dwells with his sister (?), the Baroness, Katrin, and their (?) two teenage children. In this den of perversion and medical malpractice he nurtures demented dreams of creating a super-race by reanimating the corpses of two magnificent specimens of humankind. He brings the two zombies back to life and waits for them to mate, but… something has gone terribly wrong! What effect is all this having on the Baron’s children? What effect is this having on the girl you came to the movie with who will no longer talk to you. Ever. Be prepared for a night of hilarious gore, perversion and insanity in one of the great camp classics of 70’s cinema. Not for the faint hearted.
