Join us for a public conversation with Professor André Dombrowski about his new book Monet’s Minutes: Impressionism and the Industrialization of Time. Dombrowski is Frances Shapiro-Weitzenhoffer Professor of 19th Century European Art at the University of Pennsylvania and a leading authority on French Impressionism. The event will begin with a short presentation by the author, followed by a public conversation between him and Oliver O’Donnell, Hill-Stead’s Resident Art Historian. Questions from the audience will be welcomed at the end, and the evening will conclude with a reception of wine and cheese. Copies of the book will also be for sale at Hill-Stead Museum’s shop.This event is greatly sponsored by the Northwest Community Bank Foundation.
