A Crookes Folk Club presentation at The Princess Royal, 43 Slinn Street, Sheffield, S10 1NW.Andrew Hardy has stepped in at the last minute to replace Ruth Lee who, sadly, has had to delay her debut at the club due to illness, she hopes to be able to appear in February next year.
*TICKETING & DOOR POLICY*
Whilst we occasionally run ticketed Friday Night Specials, entry for our regular weekly Thursday club nights is on a first-come-first-served basis and unticketed and we do not take advanced seat bookings.
Entry for regular club nights is free, we pay our guests by way of a *CASH* collection. Whilst we understand that some simply haven't the means to make a contribution and absolutely DO NOT wish to exclude them, we expect those who can to make as generous a donation as they are able in recognition of our guest's work.

Life is full of unexpected ups and downs, illness, weather and other unexpected things can spoil the best made plans. We may sometimes have to change our guest at short notice, or even cancel an evening altogether. To avoid disappointment please re-visit the relevant night's event for updates *BEFORE* setting out.

"I have owned a guitar since the mid 70’s. I am one of the many “bedroom” guitarists who, for example, buy a songbook, attempt each song and, encountering the song’s tricky chord, say a B or Bm, would think bugger this, turn the page, and be onto the next song! This process has taken me 35 years to distil the world’s musical oceans down to a small, but perfectly formed, repertoire of three chord songs."

Busking is, without doubt my favourite musical activity. The audience is largely transitory, good-natured and sometimes even appreciative. Every week gives a “story to tell”."
