The 5th edition of Consolatio Art Events, The Heights Lounge being the #1 location in presenting the work of underground artists that feed into the Tampa culture. These artists have not been acknowledged enough for the time they put into their creations and this night gives them a chance to show their incredible talent. On June 22, 2024 and 7pm, Andres Carrillo will be showcasing his work solo for the very first time! If you would like to get to know the artist better, read below. Join us for a night of getting to know our community of like-minded people, creativity on a piece for anyone that feels inspired by Andres' work, will be able to contribute to it, and kava. Artwork will be for sale, and you will be able to meet Andres himself on this wonderful night.
ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Andres Carrillo is originally from Venezuela, the origin of his inspiration. He has a very bright and moving imagination to share. Andres explores art that touches on religion, human experiences and hidden meanings; His process consists of sketching and drawing that may result in mediums like ink, colored pencils, acrylic paint, watercolor and other unorthodox tools from his experimental notebook. Artists like Akira Toriyama inspires Andres to draw from the soul and create art that visually manifests his subconscious and imagination.

Andres has spent a lot of time with human that are either very dear to him or with total strangers, mainly those that have been very well ignored by society. Since he was young he admired capturing the intangible essences of life in a visual symphony as a passion of his. The encouragement of his talent from professors, loved ones, strangers, and himself, fuel his desire to continue to explore and push the boundaries of art.
