Join us during Co-op week 2025 for a powerful community event hosted by Regina Community Clinic, Saskatchewan's longest-standing health cooperative.
André Picard, award-winning national health writer, author, and Globe and Mail columnist, will headline this special luncheon, offering insight into:
- how health misinformation spreads
- Why it undermines public trust
- What communities like ours can do to push back
This engaging and timely discussion is a must for healthcare professionals, educators, co-operative leaders, and engaged citizens.
Award-Winning National Health Writer and Author
André Picard is the health columnist at The Globe and Mail and the author of six books, most recently “Neglected No More,” about the crisis in eldercare. André has received much acclaim for his writing including the prestigious Michener Award for Meritorious Public Service Journalism and the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal for his dedication to improving health care.
He is a member of the Order of Canada.
André is a graduate of the University of Ottawa and Carleton University, and has received honorary doctorates from eight Canadian universities, including UBC and the University of Toronto.
