This engaging program will present the important part the Irish and Irish-Americans played in the formation of America and its War of Independence from Great Britain! Historian and Comhaltas member Bill Devlin will explain the history via a Powerpoint presentation, with songs and music from the period presented by the musicians of our branch. Learn about the brave Irish and Irish-Americans who fought for our country's freedom, and the contributions they made to form America!
This program takes place on Thursday, October 16th starting at 6:30 pm, in the Heritage Room at the Greater Danbury Irish Cultural Center, 6 Lake Avenue in Danbury, CT. All are welcome, and admission is free.
