“Wild Church” is a growing movement around the country (www.wildchurchnetwork.com). People gather to reconnect and remember how we belong to the natural world. We are of the wild. Such gatherings are highly experiential and non-dogmatic. They can include poetry and other readings, rituals, and offer promptings of the spirit. During the gathering time, each person can spend some time individually engaging with the natural world before rejoining the circle to share experiences. Prompts for this exploratory time are provided. Offerings will alternate between venues that involve a more strenuous hike and meetings on more accessible land. It will take some time to find a regular rhythm, but pilot gatherings will take place over the spring and summer. Please contact Ute if participating in our Wild Church interests you ([email protected]). For this gathering, either carpool from the church parking lot at 55 Elm Street at 3:30pm with a 3:40 pm departure or meet the group at the Preserve Beech Hill Rd entrance at 4:00pm. If you run late, just meet us at the top of the Hill. All ages welcome!

Please note there are two entrances! We will take the easier path from Beech Hill Rd, not the Woods Trail from Rockville Rd.
